About: Alana is a junior at Princeton where she is majoring in psychology and obtaining a certificate in global health and public policy. At Princeton, she volunteers at two hospitals and is an officer of the Premed Society in addition to being a health adviser. She is also a religious adviser and takes ballet class. Alana scored a 2350 on her SATs (800 Math, 800 Writing, 750 Verbal), top scores on SAT II exams, and perfect 5's on several AP exams. She graduated at the top of her class from Garnet Valley High School in 2007. While there, she tutored other students in chemistry and math, founded the Future Medical Professionals Club, and participated in school musicals. She received several awards including the school-wide humanitarian award, Philadelphia Eagles Scholar, and Commerce Bank American Dream Scholar. In her free time, Alana enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attempting to play racket sports.
