About: Alex currently attends Dartmouth College, where he is majoring in Government. He is the founder and an active member of The Dartmouth Business Journal, where he has served in positions ranging from writer to President. Alex also helped to found the Cuban American Undergraduate Student Association (CAUSA) at Dartmouth, which seeks to raise awareness about political and social issues in Cuba. Alex graduated summa cum laude from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami, and scored exceptionally well on all areas of the SAT and ACT. While in high school, Alex was made an AP Scholar with Distinction after scoring a 5 or 4 on eight AP exams. Outside of school, Alex has interned at Univision Communications as well as Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen's Washington, D.C. office. When he is not helping his Ivy Insiders students beat the SAT, Alex enjoys white-water kayaking, traveling, learning foreign languages, and writing. He is currently working on his first novel, a comedy based on the months he spent in France as part of a study-abroad program.
