About: Alison is a rising junior at Cornell University where she majors in French and English, tutors students in writing, French, and chemistry, contributes to the literary magazine Ink, and plays on the varsity women's lacrosse team. Alison graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School in 2008 as the valedictorian and an AP Scholar. While in high school, she scored exceptionally in all areas of the SAT, including an 800 on the writing section. She also scored a 5 on four AP exams, was the president of Model United Nations club and was a vice-president of National Honor Society. In other activities, Alison played field hockey, lacrosse, and was a captain of the indoor track team. When she has free time outside of tutoring at school and for Ivy Insiders, she enjoys reading, writing, camping and hiking, and coaching youth sports.
