About: Amelia is currently pursuing a degree in economics at Columbia University, where she is on the board of the student environmental organization, works as a residential advisor, and is a member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She went to high school at Emma Willard School in Troy, New York, where she received awards for excellence in academics, dance, and community leadership, and did exceptionally on all areas of the SAT. Amelia has formally and informally tutored fellow students in subjects like Spanish, U.S. History and writing. She has also tutored English-as-a-second-language students in writing and reading. While not working for Ivy Insiders, Amelia loves shopping at the farmers market and playing tennis in Liberty Park!
