Mike Goldstein

About: Mike, a Shady Side graduate, has successfully helped more than 350 students prepare for the SAT over the last four years and is one of Ivy Insiders' most experienced teachers. He focuses not just on teaching proven strategies, but on teaching the structure of the SAT so that students know exactly what to expect on test day. In addition to teaching with Ivy Insiders, Mike is an experienced full-time teacher having taught 10th grade humanities at Culver Academies, a boarding high school in northern Indiana for three years where he also coached football and basketball. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in history in May 2007. Beginning in the summer 2010, he will be offering Ivy Insiders courses year-round in the Pittsburgh area.
