About: After successfully helping more than 350 students prepare for the SAT over the last four years, Mike is one of Ivy Insiders' most experienced teachers. He focuses not just on teaching proven strategies, but on teaching the structure of the SAT so that students know exactly what to expect on test day. In addition to teaching with Ivy Insiders during the past three summers, Mike currently teaches 10th grade humanities at Culver Academies, a boarding high school in northern Indiana where he also coaches football and teaches SAT classes. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in history in May 2007. During the summers of 2008 and 2009, Mike taught Ivy Insiders courses to over 140 students in the Pittsburgh area with an average score increase of just over 300 points.
