About: Elyse currently attends Northwestern University, where she is studying to become an acoustical engineer. Elyse plays her viola in the Philharmonia, and participates in the Student Admission Council and Society of Women Engineers. In 2008, she graduated from Manheim Township High School with a GPA of 4.0 and an SAT score of 2370 (800 math, 800 critical reading, 770 writing). During her high school years, she was named a National Merit Scholar, was a member of the school's #2 nationally ranked Quiz Bowl team in 2007, and participated in orchestra, chorus, pit orchestra, and musical theatre. Her first tutoring experience was in fifth grade, and she has continued tutoring throughout high school and college. When she's not working with her Ivy Insiders students, she loves to create and enjoy music, explore libraries, and continue her quest for the perfect strawberry pie.
