Miaoting Wu

About: Mimi is a rising junior at Yale University studying for a double major in English and Political Science. She is a research assistant in Political Science, helps produce shows for the Yale Dramatic Association, participates in the Yale International Relations Association, and will be the Under-Secretary General of Delegations for next year's Security Council Simulation at Yale. She graduated first in her class of 331 from Millburn High School in 2008. In high school, she received a 2360 on the SAT I (800 Math, 800 Critical Reading, 760 Writing), 5s on 15 AP exams and 4s on 2 AP exams, and was the recipient of the National Merit Scholarship, the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship, and the Lowes Scholarship. Mimi was also editor-in-chief of her school literary magazine. This is her second year with Ivy Insiders, though she has privately tutored students ranging from 4th to 12th grade for the past four years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and wailing tunelessly to Broadway musical soundtracks.
