Terms of Service
Referrals
All Ivy Insiders customers who refer friends to an Ivy Insiders classroom course or private tutoring program are eligible for a $50 referral payment for each friend they refer. In order to receive a referral payment, the enrolling friend must list the referring customer’s email address in the “Referred by” field during his or her online or phone checkout process. Referral payments are processed within four (4) weeks of a referred enrollment and are sent to the address listed in the referring customer’s Ivy Insiders account.
Upgrades
Hybrid Upgrade: Customers wishing to upgrade from a standard classroom course to the hybrid program after their enrollment can do so up to one week before the first day of their course for a fee of $350.
Adding Tutoring Hours: If a customer wishes to add additional tutoring hours after the completion of a tutoring program, they can do so at the rate for the next package above their previously purchased package. Example: If a 10-hour tutoring customer wishes to add an additional 10 hours, he or she will pay the (lower) 20-hour rate on his or her added hours. Note: Discounted rates for additional hours will not be applied retroactively to hours already purchased.
Guarantee
Classroom Courses: Any student who completes an Ivy Insiders classroom course and is not satisfied with his or her score improvement may attend a second Ivy Insiders classroom course at no additional cost. If a student is unable to attend another class or none are offered in his or her area, he or she can “save” the guarantee for up to one (1) year after the completion of his or her original course.
Private Tutoring: Any private tutoring student who completes his or her first meeting with a tutor and is not satisfied is eligible to switch to a new tutor and will not be charged for the meeting with his or her original tutor. A tutoring customer’s paid hours only begins once he or she has found the tutor who fits his or her needs.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds
Classroom Courses: Customers cancelling their enrollment for an Ivy Insiders classroom course more than one (1) week before their first day of class are eligible to receive a full refund, minus a $100 cancellation and administrative fee. Customers cancelling their enrollment less than one (1) week before their first day of class are eligible to receive a refund equal to 50 percent of their paid tuition. Cancellations after the first day of a customer’s class are not eligible for a refund.
Private Tutoring: Customers cancelling their enrollment for an Ivy Insiders private tutoring program within one (1) week of their registration and before their first tutoring meeting are eligible for a full refund, minus a $100 cancellation and administrative fee. Customer cancelling their enrollment for a private tutoring program more than one (1) weeks after their registration and before their first tutoring meeting are eligible for a refund equal to 50 percent of their paid tuition. Customers cancelling their enrollment after their first tutoring session (but before the midpoint of his or her program) are eligible for a refund equal to 50 percent of their paid tuition. Customers cancelling their enrollment after completing half or more of their tutoring program are not eligible for any refund.
Program Changes
Classroom Courses: If at any point before or during his or her classroom course, a customer wishes to switch to a different session, he or she can do so by placing a request with an Ivy Insiders Customer Support team member (customersupport@ivyinsiders.com). There is no fee for changing courses. Customers may switch to a different course that is already in progress or one that has not yet begun.
Private Tutoring: If at any point before or during his or her private tutoring program, a customer wishes to be switched to a different tutor, he or she can do so by placing a request with an Ivy Insiders Customer Support team member (customersupport@ivyinsiders.com). There is no fee for changing tutors. All unused hours will transfer fully to the new tutor.
Disclaimer
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any course. In such events, we do our best to schedule a convenient make-up class; however, we cannot guarantee a make-up session will be scheduled or that the make-up will fit the schedule of every student.
Non-Solicitation Agreement
By becoming an Ivy Insiders customer, you agree that you will not solicit for employment, hire, or engage as an independent contractor, or permit any organization directly or indirectly controlled by you to solicit for employment, hire, or engage as an independent contractor, any person employed by Ivy Insiders at any time during the term of Ivy Insiders’ provision of services to you and for a period of one (1) year following the end of that term. Any additional services desired of an Ivy Insiders instructor may be requested through Ivy Insiders at 1-888-448-7773.
